We went out early in the morning during low tide and went out on the rocks and the waves were huge, beautiful!

These are stylin'...well not really but they make it so you can explore a ton that is until you slip on a rock and get your butt all wet (yeah totally happened to me but apparently you're not truly allowed in the tidepools til you become a member which is done by slippin' so go me!)

We walk outside the classroom and there's a giant squid just chillin' on a table, crazy! I guess some fisherman pulled it up with some fish and killed it so now we can use it for research and cool pics.

Our research project
We've been working on our research projects this week and as you see here we are working with anemones and how long it takes for them to digest a sea urchin. We are also recording how long it takes for the sea anemones to go from green to white and vice versa (see anemones have photosynthetic organisms that cause them to be green so when you take them out of the sun they turn white, way cool)
